What is a dental bridge?

A dental bridge is a fixed, permanent tooth restoration which is cemented on natural teeth. It could be the treatment of choice for a patient who has lost one or more neighboring teeth. The aim is to restore the missing tooth with a fixed prosthesis. The bridge looks like the natural teeth, achieving a functional, esthetic outcome.

There are two types of bridges: metal-ceramic and all-ceramic bridges.
